A delegation from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) visits the Arab Development Society
On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, a delegation from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) visited the Arab Development Society as part of a joint cooperation agreement to implement six agricultural experiments—five of which are being conducted within the Society’s facilities, and the sixth in collaboration with Al-Quds Open University.
During the visit, the Society’s team presented a detailed overview of the implemented experiments and their preliminary results. The delegation also sampled the date-flavored yogurt, one of the outcomes of the Society’s experiments at the dairy factory, along with quinoa products developed through the experiment conducted by Al-Quds Open University.
The visit concluded with a field tour of the various agricultural experiment sites, where the delegation observed the progress and tangible results achieved on the ground.
This visit comes as part of the Society’s ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation with international institutions and to support agricultural research and development, contributing to food security and sustainable development.
