Buttermilk and Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

milk Ingredients
  • Chopped strawberries
  • ADS Buttermilk
  • Sour cream
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla
  • A pinch of salt
     
Instructions
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • In a Pyrex dish, place the strawberries, sugar, and vanilla, and stir well.
  • Place the dish in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool completely.
  • In a blender, combine the strawberries, buttermilk, sour cream, and salt, and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into an airtight container, then place it in the freezer for one hour.
  • Take the container out, and whisk with an electric mixer for two minutes, then return it to the freezer until ready to serve.
  • Serve the ice cream in bowls, garnish with strawberry sauce and strawberry pieces, then enjoy.
