Ingredients
To prepare the béchamel sauce, place the butter in a medium-sized pot over medium heat, then add the flour and continue stirring until the flour releases a scent. Gradually pour in the milk while stirring constantly on low heat until the sauce thickens. Season with salt, black pepper, and eggs, then set the béchamel sauce aside for a few minutes.
To prepare the pasta with béchamel, place water in a large pot and add the pasta. Let it cook over medium heat until fully cooked, then drain and rinse it with running water.
Add half of the béchamel sauce, cooking cream, and half of the Romano cheese to the boiled pasta and mix well.
Grease a baking dish with butter, then pour half of the pasta mixture into the dish. Add a layer of minced meat on top of the pasta, followed by the remaining pasta.
Pour the remaining béchamel sauce over the pasta in the dish, then add the rest of the cheese and butter on top.
Place the dish in the oven and bake until the top is golden brown. Serve hot.
